Two dead, six wounded in California shooting: police (Reuters)

SAN FRANCISCO (Reuters) ? Two people have been killed and six wounded in a shooting incident in California's Santa Clara County, a spokesman for the county's sheriff's office said on Wednesday.

A 45-year-old male suspect in the shooting was still at large, Jose Cardoza also said, speaking to reporters in a briefing broadcast on local television.

Santa Clara County is in the San Francisco Bay area.
