The five-question quiz asks employees to rate on a scale from 1-4 how well their boss informs them, carries out change, explains goals, allows them to have a voice and recognizes achievement. After answering the questions, the individual's boss is "graded" on a scale of 1-20 and given a percentage score.

If employees find out they have a "bad boss" they should consider the following:

  • Working for a bad boss could increase your chance of a heart attack by 50 percent
  • Workers with bad bosses are two times as likely to be hospitalized for heart disease over a 10 year period
  • Workers with bad bosses are 2.4 times as likely to die of a heart attack.?

The "Is Your Boss Killing You?" Facebook quiz is based on the groundbreaking Swedish WOLF study which analyzed 3,122 Swedish employees, their managers' leadership behaviors, the records of employee hospital admissions and deaths from serious cardiac events over a ten- year period.
